Eva is a care-leaver and full-time student who has a repeat history of homelessness and no family support system that she can lean on. She has recently moved into a housing association property but it was offered to her without flooring or basic essentials.

Because she is studying full-time, she has low income and limited savings, making it financially impossible for her to afford both rent, living costs and set-up expenses such as the vital furnishings needed to live safely in her new accommodation.

With Greater Change’s support, Eva will be able to afford flooring for her flat and other essentials such as a white goods, crockery and bedding. This will help Eva make the accommodation liveable, maintain her tenancy and prevent repeat homelessness.
