After a period of her life with no secure accommodation and sofa-surfing alongside friends, Samantha has been offered a job away from where she is currently residing. She needs to move to be closer to work, but the cost of the upfront rent and deposit is currently unaffordable for her. 

Samantha and her support worker have applied to Greater Change for £1500 for both the rent deposit and the first months’ rent. This move would allow her to live closer to work, have a stable start to her new job, and a home of her own that she can sustain with her new income.
