Elijah

Elijah

Elijah has been living in council housing and receiving support through a charity partner to help him maintain stability. With a history of mental illness, he struggles to maintain employment but is eager to apply for a part-time role to have more structure and independence.

In Elijah’s current living situation, he doesn’t have a sofa or white goods, like a working hob, which continues to impact his mental health. His support worker referred him to Greater Change for £1000 to cover white goods and vital furnishings for his flat, and clothes to attend job interviews. With this funding, Elijah will be able to settle into a safe space that feels like home and pursue part-time employment. This will in turn, help him build confidence, move into gainful employment, and continue to improve his well-being.
