Marvin has experienced a period of sofa surfing, moving between friends as he tries to find a place of his own. His partner organisation has secured a sheltered property, but he lacks the upfront cost of rent and purchasing essential items that will make it a home. 

Marvin and his Support Worker have applied to Greater Change for £1,000 to purchase rent in advance, and items such as a sofa and TV. This will give Marvin the chance to create a home he has been waiting for.
