Claire* has been homeless for over a year now, as following hospitalisation she lost her home. She’s been living in temporary accommodation for a year now, and has finally found somewhere to live, but all of her old belongings remain in storage. The current costs of renting the storage unit, and moving them into her new home is, at the moment, unaffordable for her. 

Claire and her Support Worker have applied to Greater Change for £1,000 to fund the removals of her belongings from storage and into her new home, and the first month’s rent upfront. This will allow Claire to move back into a home furnished with her own items, making it a safe and sustainable accommodation for her to rebuild her life.
