Fatima moved to the UK as a young woman. When she arrived, she didn’t have any family or support system, and she spoke limited English.

She has been working low-paying jobs whilst moving from place to place, from rough sleeping, to temporary accommodation, and sofa surfing. Fatima has now found a room in a shared house but she can’t afford the deposit and the first couple of months rent on her own.

After years of maintaining employment without a stable home, Fatima has now secured a new job that will allow her to afford rent moving forwards; however, because she hasn’t begun the job yet, she needs our support to raise £1040 so she can secure the flat. Fatima aspires to be settled enough to start college and improve her English, and eventually wants to attend university.
