Jason has been living between family and friends for months now, which means he has little privacy, security or consistency. His Universal Credit payments are not enough to pay for a deposit upfront, so he is stuck in the cycle of living between other people’s homes. 

Jason and his support worker have found a property he loves, but he is unable to pay the upfront cost and the fees involved with furnishing it. They have applied to Greater Change for £2,000 to secure the flat, and essential goods such as a bed frame, fridge and cooking equipment. This will give Jason the stable base he needs to begin to rebuild his life following a period of severe instability.
