Marcella lives in a flat with her family, including one family member who has complex mobility needs. The accommodation they currently reside in has multiple steps to the entrance, which is incredibly difficult for Marcella and her family to enter and exit the property. 

Through a partner charity, Marcella’s support worker has found her and her family a more suitable, accessible home, but the property requires two weeks’ rent upfront, and lacks some of the basic amenities that they cannot transfer from their old home. Marcella and her Support Worker have applied to Greater Change for £1,000 to cover the upfront rent, and an oven. This will give her and her family a suitable, accommodating property where they can settle.
