Mohammad moved to the UK as an asylum seeker, where he was rough sleeping for months until he was put in touch with a partner charity. Since receiving support, he has been living in supported accommodation and working with the job centre to get back into employment.

After months of searching, he found a privately-rented flat, but he needs support to afford the deposit and first month’s rent whilst he secures full-time employment.

By providing Mohammad with £1,780, he will be able to move out of precarious supported accommodation and into stable housing, allowing him to focus on applying for jobs. This will be a stepping stone in Mohammad’s move out of homelessness, preventing the risk of him falling back into rough sleeping.
